Seaside Showdown Recap

The Raiders sent 3 teams down to Virginia Beach to the Seaside Show Down. The 28/29 Raiders went undefeated and took home the championship! Congratulations to Penguins; Cole Chase (28′), Nolan Merenda (29′), Colton Forman (29′), and Austin Keyser (29′)! The Raiders team playing in the JV bracket went 4-1 on the weekend, going undefeated in pool play, but ended up losing a heart breaker in the championship game. Penguin Cam Deasy (27′) stood out as one on of the best 27’s at the event, great work, Cam! Penguin Gabe Cunningham (26′) also had a great weekend. The Raiders team competing in the varsity bracket had a solid weekend as well, ending the weekend with a 4-2 record, and another close loss in the championship game. Penguins Lucas Morvillo (26′) and Ty Scully (26′) had an incredible weekend, proving to be ahead of the rest by making the all tournament team! Congratulations to them both!
