PrimeTime Shootout Recap

The Guins’ had a great weekend over at UMass Amherst this past weekend. We sent one team of every age level, every team played very hard and found some serious success. We were very happy with our first tournament of the Summer, only more good things to come! Go Penguins!

Penguins 2034/35- Finished the weekend going 3-2, losing a heart breaker in the championship game. The boys played fantastic team offense and defense. The future is very bright for this team.

Penguins 2033 – Stuck out the weekend completing the tournament with a 3-2 record, losing in the championship game to a great team. The 33’s will keep rolling this Summer and find themselves with some hardware very soon.

Penguins 2031 – Took a broom over to UMass last weekend, ending the weekend with a clean sweep going 5-0 with a goal differential of 23, and brought home the championship. This team is due for some massive wins this Summer, absolutely a team to keep your eyes on, keep rolling 31’s!

Penguins 2029- Ended the weekend 4-1-1, with a goal differential of 18, they played incredibly well against some tough competition. That record brought the 29’s to yet another championship! The guys were not able to pull out a dub, but it was a hard fought battle. This team is going to a problem for the competition this Summer, we are excited for the future.

Penguins 2026- Found themselves heading home with a 3-2 record. The 26’s played very well and had some huge wins against some serious competition. This team is going to do big things this Summer!

Penguins 2030 & 2028 – These two teams both had a solid weekend finishing at 50% after Sunday!

Thank you to all of the parents and players for making the trek out to UMass last weekend, we appreciate it! We are looking forward to a great weekend with our youth teams playing down at URI in Brawlin’ at the Beach, and our HS teams playing up at RPI in The National Invitational at Albany.
