Brawlin’ At The Beach Recap

The Penguins attended Brawlin’ at The Beach this weekend at various locations across Rhode Island. All ten of our Penguins teams fought hard all weekend, resulting in some awesome highlights. Our 2025 team went undefeated in pool and playoff play, resulting in a championship WIN. Congratulations to our 2025s! Our 2027 team fought hard in pool play, going 2-2-1. Their valiant effort resulted in the 27’s making the championship game, although after a gritty game, we were unable to come out on top. Our 2029 white team went undefeated in pool play, landing them in the championship game. After a tenacious effort, coming back from a 4 goal deficit in the second half, they unfortunately lost in a Braveheart overtime. Our 2030 and 2031 teams was very solid throughout the weekend, ending the tournament with a 3-1 record. Finally, our 2033/34 team rolled through pool play not losing a game. This landed them in the championship as well. After an unrelenting effort, we were not quite able to take home the win. We are very proud of our efforts this weekend! We are looking forward to seeing how our high school teams stack up next weekend at The Bull Dog Brawl at Bryant University.
