The Penguins Lacrosse program has earned some well-deserved recognition on a regional level.
It has come in at No. 19 on the U.S. C lub Lacrosse’s top 20 teams in the Northeast.
This a tremendous honor for the program and is a testament to everyone involved from full-time staff, coaches, players, and families dating back to its inception in 2009.
The rankings are based on overall program performances at tournaments nationwide during the 2018 summer events season.
“We are grateful for this recognition alongside some of the best club programs in the country. It speaks volumes to the efforts put in by our coaches and players on a day to day basis — Penguins families should be proud of this accomplishment.” said Penguins program director Jason Wellemeyer.
The Penguins take pride in player development not only on the field, but off it as well. It takes pride in focusing on the fundamentals and the staff makes sure each player truly understands the game of lacrosse and the commitment that it takes to play at the game’s highest levels.
The program will participate in several events this fall, beginning with the PrimeTime Fall Classic on Oct. 28.
