Penguins Kick Off 2018-2019 Season at Fall Classic

The Fall 2018 Penguins season kicked off at the PrimeTime Fall Classic Tournament at Rogers Fields in Devens, MA on Sunday, October 28th.

The Penguins 2025 team had a strong tournament appearance going 2-1 in pool play and making the Championship game. Though they fell 4-3 in a great back and forth game with CT Valley, the team played competitively and worked hard all day long. Coach Chris on a great day, “The team played with great energy and showed some toughness and grit throughout the day. We ended up playing in our first Championship game as a team and look forward to competing in the next tournament.”

Massachusetts LacrosseThe Penguins 2024 also made the Championship game of the 2024AA bracket. They went 2-1 in pool play and were defeated by a formidable Laxachusetts team in the Championship game. Coach Jason on the tournament, “The team played really well in the first two games and worked well on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Max Becker was exceptional in the net making big saves in the final two games. Overall it was a good day of lacrosse and we’ll look to improve at the next tournament.”

Both the Penguins 2023 and Penguins 2027/28 went 1-2 on the day beating 802 Lacrosse and FCL respectively. The Penguins 2026 team went 2-1 and had a pivotal 4-1 win over a strong Laxachusetts team. They fell just short of reaching the 2026AA bracket Championship game.

Overall is was a great day for the Penguins who competed in AA brackets and played some tremendous competition.

The Penguins will be back in action this weekend at UMass-Amherst playing in the Mid-Fall Classic on Sunday, November 4th. Penguins 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019 will all be in attendance for their first tournament of the Fall season.
