Penguins Fall Brawl Youth Recap

The Youth Fall Brawl took place on Sunday, November 11th as over 50 teams competed on a cold day at Bryant University.

The 2024 Penguins had an excellent day going 2-0 in pool play and getting the #1 seed heading into the semi-finals against the Little ‘Necks. The games was hard fought and ended up tied at the end of regulation. The Braveheart didn’t go the Penguins way falling 4-3. Coach Jason on a great day of lacrosse, “We started the day very strong and had good wins early. I told the players we had to step it up for our play-off game and they definitely did. I can say we played our best lacrosse of the fall season during that game and though we didn’t come out on top it still was a great day.”

Both the 2025 and 2026 Penguins went 1-2 on the day against some tough competition. Coach Alex on the day, “Overall it was a good day of lacrosse and something we can learn a lot from. We started the day with a big win against the Bulldogs. Our last two games we needed to play better and there is definitely some things we can work on going forward.” The 2023 and 2027/28 Penguins came up against stiff competition and played hard throughout the day.
The 2023, 2024 and 2026 Penguins will compete on Saturday, November 17th at Yale University. The 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 will all be at Bryant University for the HS Fall Brawl on Sunday, November 18th.
