“I was extremely proud of the effort that our 2022 group brought this weekend in winning the Fall Classic. We challenged our guys in the huddle after a tough loss to The Prospectors and they really rebounded with an awesome effort right out of the gate in the Championship game coming out to a hot start. We had guys make tremendous improvements over the course of the day across the board. Most notably our three close defensemen Dan Berton, Jake Brini, and Mac Brini had standout performances in all three of our games and set the tone for the rest of the group.”
The Penguins 2023 Orange started off pool play at 1-1-1. The first game of the day was a close contest where they fell to the Houlagans 7-5 in a great back and forth game. They ended up tying a solid NH Tomahawks Gold team and would win their final pool play game. They would enter the championship game by winning a tie-breaker and would end up playing the Houlagans again in a rematch of the first game. The 2023 Penguins were able to make some half-time adjustments and came out victorious 6-3.
