Penguins at Fall Brawl

The Penguins program continued the Fall season the Fall Brawl on Saturday, November 7th. Eight teams were spread out across four locations in New Hampshire and the Penguins continued their winning ways going a combined 14-8-1.

The Penguins 2029/30 continued an already impressive Fall going 2-1 with huge wins against 4Leaf and HGR. The final game of the day proved to be the toughest as the team lost in the final seconds to a strong Coyotes team.

“I was very proud with how our team played all day. We had great goaltending with Bobby and Liam in net and our defense played exceptionally backed by Braylon, Graham and Westy. We had consistent play from our attack all tournament and DJ Jenkins came up with some clutch goals all day. My biggest takeaway was how we were able to implement what we leaned in practice and bring it over to the game. Overall I was very happy with how the team competed.”

The Penguins 2022 Platinum team enjoyed two decisive victories beating the NH Tomahawks Gold and 4Leaf Orange and going 2-1 overall at the Fall Brawl. The wins began in cage with tremendous goaltending from James Carr and they were able to build multi goal leads early in both games. David Pacella, Nolen Beauregard, Sean Murphy, Brady Daylor, and Mike McLaughlin led the way offensively while Colin Birch’s play at the faceoff x and the lockdown defense of Jaden Cronin, Andrew Walsh, Colin Shea, Hunter Maher and the Brini brothers and 2023 Bruno Batty allowed us to close out games going away.

The Penguins 2027/28 had a strong win against the Houlagans with a solid defensive effort all day long. The Penguins 2026 went 2-0-1 with decisive victories against HGR Blue and RI Bulldogs. They tied a back and forth game with a strong 4Leaf Army team 4-4 and overall had a very positive day of lacrosse.

The Penguins 2024 Blue had key victories against Tomahawks Purple and RI Bulldogs. The team was led by strong goaltending from Max Becker and outstanding defensive effort from Liam Schaker and Dylan Rogers. Will Abplanalp was great at the Face-off X giving the team much needed possessions finishing 2-1 on the day.

The Penguins 2024 Orange team also went 2-1 with strong team wins against NH Tomahawks Gold and Harlem Lacrosse.

“We had a tough first game against the Coyotes but the team bounced back for the final two. We again had excellent goaltending from Jack O’Neill and Justin Hutnick. Matt and Mike Pomer boosted our midfield along with Hayden Kearney. Our defense was lock down in the final two games with strong play by Jack Cuddy and Jake Riley.”
