NH Invitational Recap

The Penguins program competed at the NH Invitational with nine teams playing over the weekend. The program went a combined 23-15-3 with three Championship appearances and TWO Championship medals. This proved to be a very successful weekend for the Penguins overall and marked the halfway point of the season.

Penguins 2023: 2-2 overall with key victories against Maine Mussels and Rip It. They lost a tight game against 4Leaf Navy.

Penguins 2024 (Playoffs): 2-2 overall with victories against Rip It and HGR Green. Would lose in semi-finals to eventual champion Team 91 Tri State.

Penguins 2025: 2-2 overall with solid wins against Rip It and CT Valley.

Penguins 2026 (CHAMPIONS): 5-0 on the weekend and had a hard fought Championship game against NH Tomahawks Gold to claim their third medal of the summer.

Penguins 2027 (Playoffs): 2-1 in pool play and would make the semi-finals and lose to 3d New England Blue in a tough game.

Penguins 2028: 1-3 overall and had a good win against the Maine Maineiax.

Penguins 2029 (CHAMPIONS): Started Saturday going 0-1-1 with a last second tie against Salty Dogs and loss to Coyotes. Sunday the team had two wins against the Little Necks and CT Wolves which enabled them to get into the Championship game on a tie breaker. Facing a tough Kings Red, the game was one on a last second goal by Nolan Merenda to seal the victory, 4-3.

Penguins 2030 (Playoffs): 2-1 in pool play and would make it to the semi-finals against the Little Necks, losing a back and forth game. Overall the team would end up 3-2.

Penguins 2031/32 (Championship Appearance): 4-0 in pool with a close win against the Salty Dogs and a decisive 13-4 win against the Little Necks. The team would go on to play the Salty Dogs again in the Championship game but would lose to round out the day 4-1.
