Fall Classic Recap
The Penguins were on fire in their second tournament of the fall season! Across all teams, the boys combined for an impressive 11-6-1 record this past weekend — finishing with a +40 goal differential.
2029 Penguins
The 2029 squad had an outstanding day, going 3-0 against tough competition. They finished with a +24 goal differential and allowed only three goals all day. Evan Kornbau, Conor Knott, and Luke Bavuso were difference-makers, dominating both ends of the field in Devens on Saturday.
2030 Penguins
The 2030 Penguins also went undefeated, posting a +17 goal differential while allowing just 10 goals against. Jack Hanlon, Dante Lucchetti, and Vinny Scobbo stood out with strong playmaking and effort all day. We’re excited to see what this talented group will do next!
2033 Penguins
The 2033 team battled hard, finishing 2-1 and falling just one goal short in their final game — a heartbreaker against a tough opponent. Charlie Love, Wyatt Griffin, and Parker Griffin led the charge with great effort, energy, and teamwork. This group’s future looks incredibly bright!
2034/2035 Penguins
Our youngest Penguins impressed as well, going 2-1 with two dominant wins. Their final game was a tight, two-goal loss to a strong team, but they showed heart and hustle from start to finish. Camden Fortier, Luke Musumeci, and Bobby Grossman all had standout weekends for their squad.
A huge congratulations to all of our Penguins who competed last weekend — and a big thank you to our parents and guardians for making the trip to Devens. We’re looking forward to another great weekend of lacrosse at UMass Amherst.
Go Guins! 🐧
