What our parents Say

My son joined the PrimeTime family when he was in second grade. He was struggling to find a sport that he was comfortable playing having been through 2 years of cancer treatment and feeling well behind other kids athletically. The coaches and camps were wonderful, and they instilled in him a love for lacrosse. The confidence he gained from the program translated to his school work and motivated him to try other sports. He has grown up with Prime Time and is a proud Penguin! I cannot say enough about the organization, the coaches and their philosophy!

Lee Anne Howe - Stow, MA

This is our fourth year with the Penguins Program and as a parent I could not be happier. The communication and up front scheduling from the staff has been amazing and extremely valuable. The coaching that my children have been exposed to; whether through the mini camps, tournaments and clinics/camps throughout the summer has been first class, and the friendships my boys have made with their teammates has only sweetened the deal. The coaches instill a love of the game, and more importantly a respect for their teammates, opponents and officials. The coaches and staff also embrace the whole family. My youngest has always been made to feel a part of the program, and he is thrilled to start his lacrosse journey as a Junior Penguin. Two years ago, I selfishly tried to convince my 2022 to try out for a program closer to home. He was adamant that he stay a Penguin because he had fun, and he really loved his coach. I am so glad that I listened to him, and I continue to watch him develop with his younger brothers right behind him.

Bridget Sweet - Franklin, MA

Eight years ago my son played in his first lacrosse tournament. Jason and Tyler were just starting the PrimeTime program and my son proudly wore the PrimeTime pinnie. To this day, we still talk about that first lacrosse road trip to UMass. He was hooked and so it began, we became a Penguin family. For the majority of his years, he has been fortunate enough to have Coach Wellemeyer as his head coach. There are a lot of coaches out there that know the game. However, Coach Wellemeyer not only knows the game, he also has the ability to teach the game in a constructive and encouraging way that builds confidence in his players. The positive reinforcement my son has received from his coaches and the Penguin staff has, without question, instilled a passion for the game within him. The fall of 2016 will be his last season playing as a PrimeTime Penguin. I would like to thank Coach Wellemeyer and Coach Lenfest for an outstanding experience. PrimeTime Lacrosse over the years as put my son in front of hundreds of college coaches. We are very proud to say he has committed to Hartwick College to study business and play lacrosse.
