We have partnered with RPM Athlete training to provide Penguins athletes the best in off field Strength and Conditioning right here at our facility at the PrimeTime Sports Center in Natick, MA
This is an 8 week, 1x/week program with both an on-field and a strength training component open to all Penguins athletes in grades 7 – 12. Athletes will spend half of each session on the field, going through position specific and global skill drills and technical focuses, and the other half in the weight room, working on recovery techniques in addition to strength work; the focus of which is to reduce the chance of injury and increase the amount of time the athlete has on the field. The entire session, both on the field and in the weight room, will be overseen by 2-3 coaches, all of whom are experienced with different aspects of the game and proficient in the weight room.

Malcolm Chase – Owner/Head Trainer at RPM Athlete Performance. A life long coach and athlete, Malcolm has performed at some of the highest levels in the game. Chase was a member of the 2013 Boston Cannons, and played on the LXMPRO tour in 2012-2013. He played for the Boston Rockhoppers of the North American Lacrosse League in 2011 and 2012. Prior to his professional career, he coached at Roanoke College, Connecticut College, and was voted the Little East Coach Of the Year for Southern Maine. In addition to this, he is the founder of Long Stick Middie, a presenter on the evolution of the LSM at the US Lacrosse Convention in 2004. He is also the National Director of programming for RPM Lacrosse and has worked with youth, college and professional athletes across the country.
Kerry Kennedy – Coach at RPM Athlete Performance. Kerry was a 4 year member of the BU Women’s Rowing team where she helped the team to two conference championships wins and two appearances at the NCAA Championships in 2013 and 2014. During her time at BU she interned and later ran the strength and conditioning program with club sports at BU. After graduating she worked at Parisi Speed School, coaching athletes on running mechanics and change of direction. Following Parisi, she worked with varsity sports at Harvard, later taking up a coaching position with the Boston Latin School girls crew team from 2015-2017. While working with BLS, she coached clients at Equinox Sports Club on functional strength and sport specific training as well nutritional coaching and body composition changes.
Stu Goldthorpe – Coach at RPM Athlete Performance. A personal trainer for 10 years, Stu has spent a long time in the industry, working with young and old athletes alike. Although his passion is for running and soccer, Stu has developed a strong understanding of movement and how dysfunctional movement patterns can affect the athlete and their ability to perform at consecutively higher levels of play. Stu currently splits his time between Equinox where he started in 2014 and RPM. Prior to Equinox he was a manager and trainer at Boston Sports Clubs.
