St Lawrence University, Defense
What sparked your interest in coaching lacrosse? When did you first start coaching?
I have been coaching since I was in high school. I got interested in coaching as a way to improve my own skills as well as to spread my love of the game to others!
What has been your most memorable coaching moment as a part of the Penguins?
This summer at the Portsmouth tournament when the girls demonstrated so many of the skills we worked on in practice in real game situations.
What do you like most about the Penguins program?
I really enjoy being able to work with girls that have a variety of skill levels and see them come together to work as a team.
What are some values you try to implement in your players?
I try to instill in the girls that hustle can close the gap between skill levels. I also try to make sure the girls know that working as a team is how you improve.
How would you describe your coaching style?
I would describe my coaching style as tough, but hopefully fun too!
