The Jr. Penguins competed at the Columbus Day Play-Day on Monday, October 9th on the campus of UMass-Dartmouth. The Jr. Penguins are comprised of current 2nd and 3rd grade players and are the youngest age group in the Penguins program. Players were split into two teams for 7 v 7 games and played some great competition! Coach Jack Fournier on the day, “We were really impressed to see how hard the players worked and the amount of skill we saw. Even through the rain everyone had fun and we can build on this at practices going forward.” The Jr. Penguins Fall season will continue this weekend as they will resume practices this Sunday at the PrimeTime Sports Center in Natick.
